The solo class is designed to help players with technique and confidence when performing. It is a friendly class where other members are very supportive with help and advice.
The Guitar Orchestra provides an opportunity to play classical music in a group with other people. The music can be quite challenging but we also play simple and fun music and occasionally perform in concert.
Between classes tea or coffee will be available for a small charge.
The classes have been set up to replace the classes that were held at the Mary Ward centre where they have been closed down for the new term. Classes are being organised as a Society, by members who used to play as the Mary Ward Orchestra.
New people joining will be required to pay a subscription and become a member, they will then be entitled to vote at meetings on matters concerning the running of the Society..
